For hiking enthusiasts, there are numerous hiking routes throughout the island. There is a trail right in Puerto Rico that leads to breathtaking views of the ocean and Puerto Rico. This path leads to the town of Arguineguin, which you can then visit. If you no longer want to hike back, you have the option of taking a comfortable bus back to Puerto Rico.
Also an absolute must is a hike along the permitted trails through the 7 km long sand dunes of Maspalomas, which stretch along the ocean.
